Suarez exit rumors, Link with City and Madrid

As the transfer market is nearing, with just five weeks to go, many players are linked with many other clubs. the most recent is Liverpool Star Striker Luis Suarez. Many websites have reported that Suarez is a target for Manchester City. City boss Machini have instructed to offload trouble star Mario Balotelli and bring in Suarez. It is also reported that City will prepare a bid for around £50 million. Roberto Mancini has grown weary of errant forward Mario Balotelli and wants to offload the Italian to make room for the hottest striker in the Barclays Premier League.
Suarez has carried Liverpool this season, scoring 11 goals, but his form has not gone unnoticed and Mancini would like to recruit the Uruguay international. Prising Suarez away from Anfeild  however, would come at a huge cost - £50 million would be a realistic valuation - and negotiations would be complex.Liverpool's stance about the 25-year-old has not changed from the summer when they saw off interest in him from Paris St Germain and Juventus. Back then Liverpool gave Suarez a significant improvement on his contract, extending it to 2017 and giving him terms on a par with the club's top earners.

Also Suarez is also linked to Atletico Madrid as a replacement for Falcao in case the Colombian striker moves to another team during January transfer.

THE POSSIBILITY :

Machini retains a long-term interest in Fiorentina attackerStevan Jovetic, Napoli's Edinson Cavani and Atletico Madrid hitman Radamel Falcao. With Chelsea in pole position to sign Atleti's prolific Colombian and the player himself apparently favouring a move to Stamford Bridge, Jovetic and Cavani remain more realistic options for City.Fiorentina have told star man Jovetic that he will be allowed to leave this summer, while Napoli are thought to be willing to listen to serious offers for Cavani. Both could be available for as little as £25m (€31m).
So Suarez is not their main target.
As Rodgers has stated in no uncertain terms, as far as he is concerned, Suarez is not for sale. He is their talisman and signed a new long-term deal with the club only this summer.Furthermore, if the Reds miss out on European football altogether this season, circumstances may change – but only if Suarez himself forces their hand.

There are few clubs in the world who would not like to have one of their players bandied around with a price-tag of £40m (€50m) or £50m (€62m) attached but, at present, Liverpool see no deal worth doing.

Moreover Suarez has committed his future at Anfeild. During his recent interview with his club website he said "I have a very long contract here and it's a dream come true to be playing at a club like Liverpool because, as I've said, as a boy I dreamt of playing for a team like this. Now I'm here, it's all about enjoying myself and trying to be here for as many years as I can, because I'm at a club where I'm very happy, my family is happy, I've got fantastic teammates and a manager from whom I'm learning so much.
"As a player, it's vital to have the backing of your manager and so I think that the confidence Brendan is showing in myself and the team as a whole is very important and it's down to us to repay that trust out there on the pitch."
