Newcastle United up for Loic Remy or Moussa Sissoko or Mathieu Debuchy??

And in CalcioMercato yesterday, there was a report that Newcastle were lining up three players in the French League to bring to Tyneside in January.
And those players identified were Mathieu Debuchy of Lille, Moussa Sissoko of Toulouse, and Marseilles striker Loic Remy, who Newcastle were first linked with back in 2008.
Newcastle tried to bring Mathieu Debuchy in over the summer, but wouldn’t pay the fee Lille were asking at the time, but it could be that the French club have softened their stance on a player who has played for the Lille first team since 2004, and would cost around £6M.
Loic Remy is a talented player, but he would cost quite a bit to bring in from Marseilles, where he has a contract there until 2015 and cost around €15M when he was transferred from Nice to Marseilles a couple of years ago.
And we don’t think Newcastle would pay nowhere near that amount, even for a 25 year-old, so we don’t really see how Newcastle can get this player on Tyneside, he looks to be too expensive.
Moussa Sissoko is a different case, and his contract runs out in the summer, and maybe a £2M bid in January would allow Toulouse to get something for their central midfielder, and not lose him for nothing in the summer. But there are also other big clubs interested in acquiring the French International.
Of these three we think it’s plausible that Newcastle could bring in both Debuchy and Sissoko, but we also need reinforcements at striker and at center-back, and we would hope some deal can be done to strengthen those positions too, but that may be difficult to get so many players in during the January transfer window..
