Luis Suarez : A victim of Reputation?

    Luis Suarez has been denied penalty or faults few times this season. He was cautioned against Sunderland. He had been denied penalties against Manchester United with contact from J Evans and against Norwich City.That one against Norwich was a clear Penalty. There was no question about that but Suarez has a bad reputation for diving in the past. So he didn't get the penalty. It doesn't really matter in that match as Liverpool won the game 5-2. But the concern is about the coming games. If the referee didn't look into the actual fact and just decide such crucial decision seeing his past reputation, Then it will not be fair to him and the team. It will kill the spirits of the game, leading to a sense of parity. 

Need to be More Careful ???

  Some players in the Barclay's Premier League have struggled to shake off their reputation for being a diver and Rodgers thinks the same may now happen to Suarez. "There is that fear,'' Rodgers said.''I could tell you about three or four strikers who go down in the box with very minimal contact, and all of them have had penalties this year.''Everyone in the ground saw it was a penalty. Apart from the referee.''  

   Talking about divers in the game, there a lots of them. Many players tried to take advantages at times so as to keep their team at front.  Of course such players are always hated by the fans irrespective of fans or non-fans. At times popular players tries to influence the referee just before the decision is awarded. Some tried to save or some tried to influence for a bigger decision. Just remember the occasion in the previous world cup at Germany in 2006, when Ronaldo was criticized because people thinks he was involved in influencing the referee to award Rooney a direct Red card. 

   There are many occasion where many wrong decision are taken. In this season only, we have came across many complaints. Penalty against Liverpool Vs Manchester United, Ba's hand goal. Luiz booked for diving, SAF complains about lesser injury time, etc. So FA should take more caution to avoid such incident by taking up certain policy, like referee with bad decision should be given minimum match to conduct etc.
